The main benefit of fabric ventilation over conventional metal systems is the lighter weight of the fabric duct material. The fabric air duct system can therefore be put into boxes for easy delivery.
Many times, additional bracing and fastening of all the seal joints is needed while installing the metal system. Installation of the ventilation ducts is considerably simpler, though.
